The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of a new system for vacation homes. This launch is part of the Department's efforts to enhance service quality, strengthen regulatory procedures, and support the rapid growth of the vacation homes sector. In its circular No. 12/2025, addressed to owners and operators of vacation homes, the Department stated that this enhanced system has been developed to provide a smoother and more efficient licensing journey. The new system offers a number of key improvements, including simplified application processes, expedited permit issuance, and an enhanced inspection framework.
