Abu Dhabi Discusses Family Business Sustainability

Abu Dhabi hosted the symposium 'Beyond Inheritance: The Sustainability of Family Businesses in the UAE'. The event was organized by the office of 'Habib Al Mulla & Partners' in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and the Abu Dhabi Chamber's Family Business Council. It aimed to highlight the importance of corporate governance and long-term planning to ensure a sustainable generational transition. Key participants included Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism; Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, Second Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber's Board of Directors; and Khalid Al Fahim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber's Family Business Council. Abdullah bin Touq emphasized the need for comprehensive legislation to ensure business continuity. Ali Al Mulla stressed the importance of early planning to balance the interests of generations.
