Khalid Mohammed Al Bayaa, Governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), received Dr. Olli Rehn, Governor of the Central Bank of Finland, and the accompanying delegation at the Central Bank's headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the Governor's assistants and senior officials from both sides. This visit comes within the framework of the central banks' keenness to strengthen bilateral relations and develop partnership in pivotal areas, including financial stability, legislative frameworks, financial technology, and green finance. During the visit, the two parties discussed ways to enrich cooperation and exchange experiences related to supervisory practices, in addition to opportunities for developing cross-border payment systems and accelerating the digital transformation.
