Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, ADNOC Group Managing Director and CEO, planted the 5 millionth Ghaf tree as part of ADNOC's efforts to preserve biodiversity. This occurred during his visit to the Ghaf forest in the 'Al Noor' area of Abu Dhabi. With this achievement, ADNOC has surpassed more than half of its goal to plant 10 million Ghaf trees by 2030. This enhances their contribution to biodiversity conservation by implementing scalable and practical nature-based solutions. They support the UAE's goal of planting 100 million Ghaf trees by 2030, creating long-term value and a tangible positive impact.
