The Statistics Center of Abu Dhabi has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining two international accreditations in geospatial data. The center has become the first government entity in the emirate to receive the ISO 19115 certification for geographic metadata and the ISO 19157 certification for the quality of geographic data. This achievement places the center among a select group of statistical institutions worldwide that have successfully implemented these two standards comprehensively within an accredited operational environment. This enhances the readiness of geospatial data to support advanced analytics and artificial intelligence applications in the emirate's government operations.
