ADGM Launches Real Estate Agents Classification Initiative

The Registration Authority in ADGM has announced the launch of the Real Estate Agents Classification Initiative, a new regulatory framework aimed at enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and quality of services within the real estate sector in the ADGM jurisdiction. This represents a new model for engaging with the agent community, positioning agents as strategic partners in shaping and advancing the market. The initiative provides a structured classification system for licensed real estate agents based on performance evaluation and continuous improvement, reflecting ADGM's commitment to building a reliable, high-efficiency real estate ecosystem aligned with global best practices. Under this regulatory framework, real estate agents will be classified into five categories: General, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, based on three key assessment pillars: sales performance, professional qualifications, and client evaluations. The initiative aims to recognize and reward top performers, encouraging ongoing investment in skill development, service quality enhancement, and customer experience improvement. The CEO of the Registration Authority in ADGM, Rashid Al Bulushi, stated that the agent classification and incentive initiative sets a new benchmark for efficiency in the real estate sector within ADGM. By linking performance, transparency, and incentives, we empower agents to elevate their professional standards while simultaneously bolstering buyer confidence in the market. This initiative underscores our role as a proactive and business-stimulating regulatory body. On February 10, 2026, ADGM hosted a workshop to officially introduce the initiative, foster collaboration with licensed agents, and establish a platform for open dialogue, shared innovation, and feedback exchange, ensuring the initiative addresses market needs and recognized best practices.
