In February of the following year, the 22nd International Festival will start in Abu Dhabi. The New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra will perform for the first time in the Arab world under the direction of conductor Yutaka Sado, along with world-renowned tenor Jonathan Tetelman and famous pianist Kiyohi Sorita. The artistic program continues with a musical evening on the next day after the orchestra's performance at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The festival organizer this year is the Abu Dhabi Group for Culture and Arts under the slogan "Abu Dhabi: A World in Bloom," in honor of the cultural diversity that the capital embraces. The event occurs within the context of marking more than 50 years of diplomatic relations between the UAE and Japan, which has been chosen as the honored country of the festival. These performances will serve as a focal point for the exceptional festival season in 2025, strengthening its position as a leading platform for artistic talent and creativity, gathering the best global artists to enrich cultural life and enhance artistic interactions at local and international levels.
