
Within the framework of the 18th festival in Zafra, the atmosphere of spring has revealed, especially during the season of beautiful wildflowers, being the true adornment of the region. The event gathered widespread participation and achieved brilliant success. It continued to fulfill its mission of raising public awareness of the importance of preserving and passing on the local, Arabic, and Zaliski heritage to future generations.
The festival itself included four exhibitions of wildflowers, starting with "Suhain Mazain", then "Razin Mazain", followed by "Zaid Siti Mazain" and concluding with "Zafra Festival Mazain" from the 11th to the 30th of this month. During the festival, there were 361 participants in the wildflower exhibition and competitions in sand runs, of which 3,460 prizes were awarded, including 355 participants in the wildflower exhibition in the categories of "Male", "Local", "Mustang Asail" and "Respectable", with a total of prizes amounting to 3,400 units. Six races were also organized, where 60 prizes were awarded for competitions in the sandy runs in the categories of "Local" and "Male".
The festival in Zafra is aimed at standardization and strengthening efforts for achieving success in wildflower exhibitions, as well as increasing participant numbers while preserving the underlying wildflower varieties, enhancing the region's attractiveness as a place for buying and selling, developing internal and local tourism, stimulating economic activity, and strengthening Abu-Dhabi's position as a leading hub for wildflower exhibitions.
