In Abu Dhabi, a race was held, organized by the Central Bank of the UAE and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The "Central Bank Race" took place on the Hadiyah island in Abu Dhabi. Races were conducted over various distances (1 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km) to meet the needs of athletes of all levels, from professionals to enthusiasts. Sport and recreational activities were also organized for all members of the community.
The event was officially opened by the governor of the Central Bank, Khaled Mohammed bin Kalma, in the presence of Khalil Mohammed Al-Fulaji, chairman of the board of directors. More than 7000 participants of various age groups took part in the race, including employees of the Central Bank, the financial sector, and the public, including people with limited abilities.
