A collaboration exists between the Grand Sheikh Zayed Center and the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of this collaboration is for female students of the faculty to participate in creating various products, posters, and furniture, used in various spaces of the Center. These designs are documented in the students' projects as part of the Center's job involving collaboration with educational institutions in the country for the training and qualification of young national cadres to enter the labor market through the involvement of students in their programs and initiatives.
The collaboration between the Center and Zayed University is marked by a project on the Islamic calendar. One of the designs proposed by one of the students of the university was used to create and release the Islamic calendar, which is published annually by the Center. The design depicts the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, walking through the university corridors, symbolizing his presence among us with his vision and ideas.
Students of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries developed designs of furniture, including chairs and tables, inspired by the identity of the Grand Sheikh Zayed. These designs were presented and used in the Cupola of the Universe, Market, and Library of the university. A special commission of the Center selected the most suitable designs that were manufactured, transformed into furniture, and distributed throughout the Center's premises for use by visitors.
Additionally, students created automotive stickers for electric cars that transport worshippers and visitors around the university's territory. These designs were inspired by the flora and fauna of the university, which contributes to enhancing the visitors' experience. In this regard, the Center distinguished and awarded 16 students from the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries of Zayed University, who participated in creating 12 special stickers for electric cars, encouraging them to continue developing their capabilities and contribute to the labor market as qualified young specialists.
