
The Archive and the National Library participated in festive events organized by the Kuwait consulate on the 64th anniversary of the national holiday and the 34th anniversary of liberation. Participation included an exhibition of historical photographs documenting the depth of brotherly relations, historical ties, and close collaboration between the two brotherly countries.
In the presence of Sheikh Nakhyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, the Archive and the National Library handed over the book "Zaid: A Journey in Photographs" to the Kuwaiti consul in the Jamal Mukhammed al-Ghanem. This book is a visual encyclopedia of rare photographs from the world of the late Sheikh Zaid bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless him, which reflect his great legacy, noble values, generosity, and love for his homeland.
The photographs presented at the exhibition of the Archive and National Library, organized during the festive event of the Kuwaiti consulate, which took place at the "Fairmont - Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Abu Dhabi," recorded several meetings of the late Sheikh Zaid bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Muhammed bin Zaid Al Nahyan, the President of the country, may God protect him, with princes and leaders of Kuwait. These meetings had a positive and constructive impact on strengthening brotherly relations between the two countries and expanding cooperation in various fields.
