
The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has announced the return of the Ramadan Pavilion in its new edition at the Saadiyat Palace, with a rich program of artistic, cultural, and recreational activities, which will take place from the 15th to the 25th of this month every evening from 9 PM to 2 AM. In recent years, the 'Ramadan Pavilion' has strengthened its position as one of the significant public events and a favorite meeting place for youth and families in Abu Dhabi, who are looking for romantic evenings during the month of Ramadan, celebrating the spirit of the holy month and its social atmosphere.
This year, Saadiyat will transform into a contemporary, vibrant palace, welcoming families and youth in a new season, filled with games, competitions, interactive arts, live performances, and various food and beverage options.
The opening of the Ramadan Pavilion will start with a musical evening featuring the orchestra and choir from Beit Al Oud, followed by daily musical performances on the palace stage with the participation of students and teachers of the Oud department, clarinet, violin, vocals. Visitors will also be able to play games in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Games and Esports, including the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which will be presented for the first time at the official release on the 20th and will be available for testing until the end of the event.
The Ramadan Pavilion will also see the return of the 'Pink Majlis' (Pink Hall), exclusively designated for women, where a diverse program will be offered, including local bazaars, master classes, and activities such as calligraphy workshops, handmade crafts, Arabic calligraphy, and games.
This year, the 'Ramadan Pavilion' will also present a selection of creative projects under the guidance of local artists and talents. A designer from the UAE, Hind Al Reais, will participate in an interactive artistic project, recreating the famous game of marbles with a contemporary accent, reflecting its heritage and significance on family gatherings. Photographer Abdallah Al Meyer will present his artistic project 'CONCEPT' – an interactive photo studio to explore culture and lighting.
Additionally, the 'Rizq for Arts' initiative will present an exhibition and an open studio at the Ramadan Pavilion during the weekends, allowing visitors to directly interact with artists: Maisa Al Omar, Elizabeth Dorazio, Karim Roche, as well as works by Akel Ahmed, Kamiliya Mahbi, Shamsy Al Mansouri. On the 22nd, there will be a 'Comedy Evening' at the Ramadan Pavilion, offering audiences a dose of laughter and joy.
