At the international exhibition Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025, the International Assembly of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum organized discussions and sessions on various literary themes and writing craftsmanship. One of the discussed topics was the use of modern technologies in the dissemination of knowledge and culture, as well as maintaining new generations related to heritage and folk creativity.

Particular attention was paid to the creation of animated films, augmented reality, holography, as well as the production of series and artistic works on these themes. It was noted that the creation of dramatic productions, inspired by the 'Encyclopedia of Folklore Creatures in Emirati Heritage', turned out to be a striking successful example of how cultural content can be represented in various forms, which increases its popularity.

One of the participants in the exhibition, a child book lover Werd Ahmed al-Ghurair, 13 years old, talked about his engaging journey into the world of books and credited his parents with instilling in him a love of reading from an early age. Speaking generally about his enthusiasm for books and literature, he emphasized the importance of reading and cultural development among youth.

Sessions also discussed the theme of creative translation and the role of digital technologies in accelerating the production and dissemination of literary works, and they praised the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation for supporting initiatives and companies in the Arab world.

At the exhibition, attention was drawn to the booth of the publisher 'Kalima', featuring a mock-up of the popular folklore character 'Um Al Dweis', as well as posters depicting key folklore creatures referenced in local legends. Abdullaziz Al-Muslim, the owner of the publishing house and its executive director, pointed out that 'The Encyclopedia of Folklore Creatures in Emirati Heritage' is among the best-selling publications of the publisher.

Special attention was given to the theme of linking new generations with the cultural heritage passed down from their predecessors. Childhood engagement with traditional legends and monsters is reflected in the interest in mythological creations, which clearly shows how new generations maintain a connection to traditional values and folklore.
