
The annual "Musical Festival of Traditional Boat Racing" will begin on May 16 and will continue until June 1 on Dalma Island in the Dhafra region of the Emirates. The organizer will be the Abu Dhabi Heritage Organization. As part of the festival, a competition will be held for traditional boats with a length of 40 feet. In the course of an informational meeting that took place yesterday in Abu Dhabi, attended by the Executive Director of events and festivals at Abu Dhabi Heritage Organization Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, as well as members of the organizing committee, participants, and sailors, issues related to the upcoming competition were discussed. One of the key features of the festival will be the race on traditional boats of 40 feet in length. The competition will take place as part of the "Musical Festival of Traditional Boat Racing," which has already received international recognition and has become a traditional event for residents and guests of the emirate.
