'Poet of the Million' Live Show Held in Abu Dhabi

Last evening at the Rahat Beach Theater in Abu Dhabi, intense competitions took place during the live broadcast of the fourth episode of the 'Poet of the Million' program in its 12th season. The program is produced by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage under the slogan 'Our Poetry is One', as part of its strategy to preserve literary and poetic heritage. The judging panel, consisting of Dr. Sultan Al-Amimi, Dr. Ghassan Al-Hassan, and Hamad Al-Saied, announced that the poets Saleh Al-Brazi (Kuwait) with a score of 49 out of 50, and Husam bin Fayyadh (Saudi Arabia) with a score of 48 out of 50, have advanced to the next round. In other results, Omar Rashid Al-Azmi (Kuwait) and Eid Fahid Al-Shamri (Saudi Arabia) scored 47 points, while Eid Sulaiman Al-Amayin (Jordan) received 45 points, and Awad Al-Awoud (Yemen) scored 44 points. It is expected that one of them will advance to the next stage by public vote this week via the program's official website and application. At the beginning of the episode, it was also announced that two poets had advanced to the next stage by public vote in the previous episode: Mubarak Hamid (United Kingdom) with 80 out of 100 points, and Fares Al-Amri Al-Subaie (Kuwait) with 54 points. This result represents the sum of the judges' scores and the points from the public vote.
