The 'Arabian Days' festival will be held for its third edition from December 13 to 15 at Manarat Al Saadiyat (UAE) under the theme 'Our Arab Voice'. The event celebrates the richness and creative diversity of the Arabic language as a cornerstone of expressive and intellectual creativity.
The festival's program features an extensive educational and cultural lineup. In collaboration with 'CNN بالعربية', a three-day storytelling training workshop will be conducted. Additionally, a diverse program of dialogue sessions and storytelling gatherings around a campfire will be held in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. These sessions will bring together a distinguished group of cultural figures, poets, filmmakers, researchers, and musicians from across the Arab world to discuss various topics, including the evolution of Andalusian Muwashshah poetry, the relationship between voice, memory, and identity, the contributions of youth to the Arab film industry, and the aesthetics of the Arabic language.
The festival's musical program will feature artists with diverse backgrounds, ranging from modern and classical to Andalusian Muwashshah. Among the performers are Fouad Abdelwahed, Rima Khcheich, Cairoki, Lina Chamamian, Zina Imad, and others.
Designed to appeal to audiences of all ages, the festival aims to serve as a platform for both professional and emerging artists for whom the Arabic language is a tool for creativity. It welcomes all visitors, Arabic speakers and non-speakers alike, to immerse themselves in the language through music, dialogue, and art.
