In Abu Dhabi, at the Al Rawdha Theater stage, the seventh live episode of the twelfth season of the television show 'Poet of the Million' took place, held under the slogan 'Our Poetry is One'. The episode featured strong competitions among the participating poets, and was interspersed with a heritage segment presented by the Mazayd Folklore Group, which showcased traditional and artistic performances. The segment included traditional vocal arts like 'Anada', the authentic folk dance 'Rawah', and the art of 'Mazayf', which relies on theatrical sword dueling. At the end of the episode, the judging panel, consisting of Dr. Sultan Al-Ayami, Dr. Ghassan Al-Hassan, and Hamad Al-Saeed, announced the results. Poet Shaher Mohammed Al-Shirari from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia advanced to the next round with a score of 49 out of 50, followed by fellow Saudi Waleed Al-Buhaib with 48 out of 50. Other poets scored as follows: Wasif Ali from Syria (47), Mohsin Al-Turki from Saudi Arabia (46), Ziad Al-Attaybi from Qatar (45), and Salah Al-Azmi from Kuwait (43). It is expected that one of them will advance to the next round based on public voting this week via the program's official website and app. At the beginning of the episode, hosts Faisal Al-Jasim and Salama Al-Mahiri announced that poet Abdulmajid Al-Saqqa from Saudi Arabia had advanced to the next round based on public voting in the previous episode, scoring a total of 65 out of 100 points from the judges and the public.
