The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club has announced the launch of the Abu Dhabi Marine Festival, which will take place from January 10 to 18 and last for about 10 days. The festival's program includes five diverse marine competitions that combine traditional races with modern sporting events. This aligns with a strategic vision aimed at enhancing the profile of marine sports and establishing Abu Dhabi as a leading regional and international hub for major marine events. The festival's program will feature the Abu Al-Abyad race for 60-foot traditional vessels, along with the Hadhir race for 22-foot traditional vessels. These races will be a major highlight for enthusiasts of traditional sailing and embody the strong connection of the Emirati community to its heritage.
