The poets Hamd Muhya Al-Ayoubi (Kuwait) and Amer Al-Aydi (Saudi Arabia) secured their spots in the final six, scoring 48 out of 50 points. They are participants in the 12th season of the «Million's Poet» program, produced by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage. Meanwhile, poet Abdullah Mohammed Al-Ajmi (Kuwait) advanced to the final six through audience voting after the previous episode, scoring a total of 80 points: 80 from the audience and from the judging panel. Four poets entered a week of voting, awaiting the advancement of one of them at the beginning of the next episode. They were: Husam bin Fayyah (Saudi Arabia) with 47 points, Musa Mohammed Al-Qubaisi (UAE) with 46 points, and Fares Al-Amri Al-Siba'i and Sahoud Zaid Al-Ridyan (Kuwait), both with 45 points. The episode included a heritage segment performed by the Abu Dhabi Folk Arts Troupe «Humble». They recited a poem written by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, performed by Nahyan Al-Mansoori and Bakheet Al-Mahiri. Dr. Sultan Al-Aimi explained the origins of this art and its role in camel racing, as well as its revival in the 1980s.
Two Poets from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia Advance to 'Million's Poet' Final
In the 12th season of 'Million's Poet' in Abu Dhabi, two finalists were determined by the judges' scores. Another poet advanced to the final through audience voting. Four contestants will continue the competition in the next episode.
