The jury of the 11th season of the poetry program "Prince of Poets" will start a live broadcast with 150 poems from 24 countries, which have passed the selection from almost 1000 poems by poets from 33 countries, completed last August. The poets moving to the next stage will undergo additional testing to qualify for the final list of 20 participants, who will perform live on air in Abu Dhabi for the title of "Prince of Poets" and the prize of a poetic trophy and a ring with the symbol of the Emirates.
The selection process is based on strict criteria for elevating the level of competition. The poets are evaluated based on linguistic accuracy, poetic mastery, ability to incorporate cultural heritage with contemporary values, as well as on the strength of presence and oratorical skills, demonstrating them. The winner of "Prince of Poets" will receive a poetic trophy and a ring with the symbol of the Emirates, as well as one million dirhams.
