Thanks to its public activities and strengthened connections with various layers of society, the municipality of Abu Dhabi organized a series of diverse sporting activities through the municipality’s centers in the areas of Shakhama, Utba, and places related to local heritage in Bani Yas, in cooperation with a number of strategic partners. The aims of these activities are to promote and motivate community members to engage in sports, make it a part of their lifestyle, and also create a positive attitude towards sports to combat common ailments and maintain the health of community members.
Within the framework of these goals, the municipality’s center in the Shakhama area organized activities for women and children in the Shariya Park under the name 'Sports Challenge of Shariya Park' in collaboration with the Sports Council of Abu Dhabi and Agenstvo for Development.
