
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the heir apparent of Abu Dhabi and president of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has announced the launch of the second annual Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW), which will take place from April 15 to 17, 2025, at the ADNEC center in Abu Dhabi. Under the theme "Towards Sustainability: Redefining Health and Wellbeing," ADGHW 2025 will gather leaders from various countries and regions to foster collaboration, stimulate innovation, and promote investment in solutions that enhance health and wellbeing.
It is expected that this year’s event will attract over 15,000 participants and 325 exhibitors, continuing to provide a dynamic forum for decision-making, experts, innovators, and investors to exchange insights, establish partnerships, and tackle critical challenges in the health sector. Events will focus on specialized thematic tracks, including a Forum where global leaders gather to discuss collective efforts for positive impacts on global health.
The main themes of the event will revolve around four key pillars, including Sustainability of Health; Personalized Precision Medicine: Personalization of Future Medicine; Sustainability and Resilience of Health Systems: Creating Future-Ready Frameworks; Digital Health and AI: Revolutionizing Care with Technology; and Investments in Health and Biological Sciences: Stimulating Global Innovations Forward.
Dr. emphasized: "Together, we strive to redefine the future of health and wellbeing through enhanced collaboration, innovation, and investments." ADGHW serves as a platform reflecting global trends in the health sector, shifting the focus from reactive treatment to preventive, holistic approaches to health. Highlighting advancements in digital health and artificial intelligence, events aim to expand the understanding of health beyond traditional care, concentrating on sustainability, wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
Participants will discover innovative transitions, deepen their knowledge, and connect with industry leaders, reinforcing ADGHW as a key gathering for stakeholders in the health and life sciences sectors. In 2025, the ADGHW Innovation Awards will be presented to recognize revolutionary achievements in health, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration in the field.
