In Abu Dhabi, the 22nd annual conference of the United Society of Ophthalmologists of the Emirates was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Dr. Nura al-Kasimi and the president of the United Medical Society of Emirates. The events took place at the Hilton hotel on Yas Island. The opening day of the conference was marked by the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the society and "Théa Pharma", as well as the launch of the initiative "استبق" - the first of its kind in the Emirates. The initiative is aimed at strengthening research on amblyopia, taking care of patients, and identifying the prevalence of various amblyopic conditions among citizens and residents of the Emirates.
In his welcoming speech, Sheikh Nura al-Kasimi noted: "The United Society of Ophthalmologists of the Emirates continues to make new strides forward, as it has been accepted."
