The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi reported the identification of 179 defective medical products since the beginning of the current year.
According to the official statement, among the identified products were defective medicines, dietary supplements, and cosmetic products. These products were withdrawn from pharmacies, supermarkets, and online stores.
The organization also noted that consumers need to purchase products only from reliable places and avoid suspicious sources. The department of medical products represents a serious danger to health, which is why it is important to be careful and check the products before purchasing.
"Our inspectors continue to closely monitor the market and control the quality of medical products to ensure the safety and protection of our residents," said a representative of the Department of Health.
