
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today welcomed His Excellency the President of Kazakhstan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, His Excellency extended greetings from President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and wished the UAE further success and prosperity.
His Highness requested the Turkish Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to President Erdoğan along with wishes for prosperity and welfare for Turkey and its people.
The two sides discussed strategic ties between the countries and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for special affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the UAE; Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Khalifa Shahin Al Marar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and a number of officials were also present.
Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation for regional stability and the mutual interests of all peoples.
Views were also exchanged on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on recent events in the Middle East.
