Zayed National Museum Hosts Exclusive Tour for Cultural Leaders

The Zayed National Museum organized an exclusive tour for a select group of cultural leaders from various emirates of the UAE to view a collection of loaned artifacts that form part of the museum's holdings. This visit reflects the nation's commitment to enhancing cultural cooperation and celebrates the pivotal role museums have played in shaping the national narrative of the United Arab Emirates. The tour was led by Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, and the Department's Undersecretary, Saud Al Hosani, along with other general directors from various emirates. During the visit, guests viewed a collection of artifacts on loan from different emirates, which contribute to enriching the museum's narrative. Each loaned piece was selected based on its historical value and the story it adds to the narratives presented in the museum's six permanent exhibition halls. The tour began in the 'To Our Ancestors' gallery, which explores evidence of human activity on this land stretching back 300,000 years, and highlights early trade networks in the Arabian Gulf.
