Abu Dhabi, Feb 5 (NA) — The United States and Russia agreed on Thursday to restore high-level military dialogue in Abu Dhabi, according to a statement from the U.S. European Command. The dialogue channel had been suspended in the fall of 2021, before the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the statement said. The restoration came after meetings held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates between Alexus G. Grynkewich, commander of the U.S. European Command, and senior military officers from Russia and Ukraine, reported Xinhua. The United States, Russia, and Ukraine held talks on Wednesday and Thursday in Abu Dhabi, focusing on efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
