His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, attended the third day of competitions for the Zayed Camel Race Grand Prize 2025 this evening. The event, featuring thousands of camels owned by citizens of the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council countries, will continue until December 1st. H.H. Sheikh Mansour engaged in cordial conversations with attendees, discussing the importance of camel racing and the significant role of the 2025 Grand Prize in reinforcing this heritage sport's status and promoting it as one of the region's most prominent festivals, recognized for its consistent success at all levels. Participants praised the extensive support from UAE leadership for this authentic heritage sport and the valuable prizes provided, which have elevated its stature to one of the country's most important sports. Camel owners expressed sincere appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Mansour. Sheikh Mansour also observed part of the competitions and the main Laqaya category races at the Al Wathba Camel Race Track in Abu Dhabi, held over a 5-kilometer distance during the evening session on the southern track. The event was also attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President and Chairman of the Camel Racing Federation, along with senior officials and camel owners from the UAE and GCC. Attendees commended H.H. Sheikh Mansour's ongoing support for camel racing, noting his regular presence at competitions serves as a strong motivator, directly contributing to the sport's development and preservation of its rich legacy. He also attended a luncheon hosted by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan at his majlis in the Al Wathba area of Abu Dhabi, with leading camel owners from the region present. H.H.
