Al Wahda Club won the UAE President's Cup for Jiu-Jitsu in the over-18 age category, following yesterday's competitions held at Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi. The champions were crowned by Arif Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, who said in press statements after the competitions concluded: "Winning the most prestigious title reflects the commitment, discipline, and continuous work that the athletes have demonstrated throughout the season," praising the role of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation in developing the sport and creating champions capable of representing the country on the biggest stages. In turn, Mohammed Al Dhaheri, a member of the board of directors of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said: "The UAE President's Cup for Jiu-Jitsu holds exceptional value for the athletes and clubs, serving as a model platform to showcase their abilities and test the technical level that the sport has reached locally. We are pleased with the level of competition this year, which reflects the great progress in the athletes' performance and the high discipline they have shown on the mat."
