This includes 1 million US dollars for the main race over 1600 meters, featuring elite Arabian thoroughbreds, making it one of the most prestigious and expensive races. In a statement released today, the club revealed that the official draw for the main race of the Abu Dhabi Golden Cup for Arabian thoroughbreds 'Qawasim' over 1600 meters will be held tomorrow in the club's attached equestrian hall, under the patronage of ADNOC. The statement added that the draw will determine the starting gates for each horse and will be attended by owners and trainers. It is considered the official announcement of the first edition of the tournament, as it is important for horses starting from middle gates to have a comfortable advantage and take a prominent position next to the fence, compared to horses drawn into gates far from the inner fence.
