The UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation participated in the 'Masters Abu Dhabi 2026' by offering an interactive laser shooting experience in the community space of Al Hudayriat area in Abu Dhabi. This is part of its efforts to raise awareness about modern pentathlon and introduce one of its most prominent modern elements. The event witnessed a wide turnout from various segments of society, attracting participants of different ages and nationalities who expressed admiration for this sport, which is characterized by precision, safety, and ease of learning, along with the atmosphere that combines focus, skill, and a spirit of challenge in a recreational and competitive framework. The event also garnered the attention of several prominent sports figures, including content creator and strength champion Vladimir Shmoundinko, known as 'Anatoly,' and football legend Christo Stoichkov. They tried the shooting experience and interacted with the public, adding an enthusiastic atmosphere and helping to attract more visitors to learn about the sport. The event was not limited to the youth, as it also saw a significant presence of senior citizens who showed great interaction and enthusiasm for trying the experience, reflecting the inclusivity of the sport and its ability to attract all members of society. Dr. Huda Al-Muttrashi, President of the Federation, expressed her happiness at participating in this global community event. In her press statements, she said: 'This step comes within the Federation's strategy aimed at expanding the base of the sport's spread at the state level and providing an opportunity for community members to discover modern pentathlon, especially laser shooting, which is considered a modern, safe, and suitable sport for various age groups.' She added that 'these initiatives embody the Federation's commitment to its societal role in spreading sports culture and supporting the state's directions towards promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging community participation in sports activities, which contributes to building a more active and vibrant society.'
