The horses of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also shone with a well-deserved double, thanks to 'Manfred' and 'Al-Karama'. The Abu Dhabi racecourse hosted its eleventh race day on Saturday, featuring seven races with 104 purebred and Anglo-Arabian horses participating. The total prize money amounted to 534,000 dirhams. The colt 'Jab Gazal', owned by Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, stole the spotlight by winning the Abu Dhabi Classic for foals. The filly 'Makhifa' from the National Stables also clinched victory in the Abu Dhabi Classic for fillies. 'Kyla du Carriere' opened the event with a win.
