Al Jazira achieved a historic 5-0 victory over Sharjah in the 18th round of the ADNOC Professional League at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, with around 2,500 spectators in attendance. Al Jazira established control from the start, with Bruno de Oliveira opening the scoring in the 20th minute. Nabil Fikir then doubled the lead in the 28th minute, before scoring his second and third goals for the team in the 31st minute. Milson added the fourth goal in the 35th minute, and Simon Panza completed his hat-trick in the 50th minute. With this win, Al Jazira climbed to fourth place with 31 points. Meanwhile, Sharjah's credit froze at 17 points, dropping to 11th place, as they continue to suffer from negative results.
