Bani Yas achieved their third consecutive win in the Professional League Championship, defeating Al-Wahda with a 1-0 score in the match held yesterday at Al-Shamkha Stadium as part of the 19th round. The match was attended by 1500 spectators. With this important victory, 'Al-Samawi' took a significant step towards securing their place in the top flight, raising their points tally to 20 and advancing to 11th place in the standings. Al-Zafra dropped to 12th place with 18 points, while Al-Wahda remained in 4th place with 34 points, tying them with Al-Jazira. Thus, Bani Yas became one of only three teams in the league, alongside Al-Ain and Al-Jazira, to achieve three consecutive wins without conceding a single goal. The sole goal scorer for Bani Yas was defender Mahamado Camara, who headed in a cross from his teammate Suhail Al-Noubi in the 45+1 minute. 'Al-Samawi' had an excellent first half, posing a constant threat to the Al-Wahda goal. Al-Wahda applied pressure in the second half, seeking an equalizer, and were presented with a golden opportunity to do so after Bani Yas midfielder Yahya Nader was sent off in the 84th minute. However, the defense and goalkeeper Fahad Al-Zuhani managed to keep a clean sheet until the final whistle.
