Additionally, the squad includes the return of several players who were absent in the recent period, most notably: Khalifa Al-Hamadi, Abdullah Hamad, Adel Al-Hosani, Mohammad Abbas, Badr Naser, and Esam Fayez. In contrast, the squad sees the absence of Al Ain goalkeeper Khaled Eissa for the first time in many years, along with the exclusion of Al-Shabab duo Caio Lucas and Luan Pereira.
