
The organizers of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship have announced the start of the main professional jiu-jitsu competition. The competitions will take place from April 6 to 9 at the IPIC Arena in the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi.
It is expected that the league will start earning and will begin accepting applications from athletes for participation starting March 2. Jiu-jitsu is a form of martial art that uses holds, chokes, and locks in its techniques. Competitions will be held in seven weight categories and are proposed to qualify athletes with different levels of preparation.
"We are pleased to announce the start of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which again attracts the best athletes from all over the world," said the general director of the managing jiu-jitsu league Talal Al-Dhafair.
