The Acting General Director of Ajman Chamber, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, confirmed the Chamber's commitment to directly supporting the industrial sector, especially amid its rapid growth. The number of iron, steel, and metal industries factories in Ajman reached 190 by 2025. Membership among new factories increased by 28%, reflecting a remarkable growth in the sector. The total number of Chamber memberships from factories and companies related to the iron, steel, and metal industries reached 745 last year, marking a 5% annual growth. During the launch of the 'Bal Al Rumaita for Iron Industries' factory in Ajman, which shipped its first commercial export consignment to the Gulf region, Al Janahi praised the rapid growth and significant expansion of the iron, steel, and metal industries sector. He affirmed the success of local factories in enhancing their competitive presence and reaching multiple international markets. He also commended the advanced factories that the emirate of Ajman and the UAE possess in the sector, noting their reliance on the latest eco-friendly industrial technologies and the application of best practices in energy and resource efficiency. This enhances environmental sustainability, boosts the competitiveness of the industrial sector, increases productivity, and supports national trends towards building a sophisticated, innovation-driven industrial economy based on modern technologies. Al Janahi pointed out that the iron sector is a fundamental pillar supporting the industrial and economic development journey, fostering development projects, enhancing industrial supply chains, and meeting the needs of the construction, infrastructure, and other sectors. He confirmed that Ajman Chamber is working to boost the participation of factories and companies in international specialized exhibitions and events, which helps in promoting their products, opening new horizons for export, and building trade partnerships. The Chamber also provides platforms and meetings that facilitate communication with investors and international partners, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the local product in regional and global markets. Meanwhile, the Founder and CEO of the 'Bal Al Rumaita for Iron Industries' factory, Adel Al Rumaita, stated that the factory's products include 'rebar, alloys, and pipes'. He explained that the factory's strategy includes several key pillars, such as enhancing local production capabilities, building strategic partnerships, and developing technologically supported operational processes. He added that the factory aims to establish regional distribution centers to expand market access and enhance the competitiveness of its products.
