Ajman player Mohamed Nasser expressed his team's disappointment at squandering a win against Al-Zafra, who scored an equalizer in the final seconds to draw 1-1. The match took place at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium as part of the 13th round of the ADNOC Pro League, with around 700 spectators in attendance. Nasser confirmed that a lack of luck plagues the team in the attacking line and that they must strive to compensate for this in the upcoming rounds. "We had opportunities in the match and we didn't take them. When you waste the chances you get, you can concede goals. We are going through a period of bad luck in attack, and we must make up for the lost points in the upcoming matches," he said. "The Orange" were leading with a goal from Bilal Yusuf in the 49th minute and were on their way to securing the three points and ending a three-match losing streak. However, their net conceded a goal in the 90+3rd minute through Marcelo Felho, with both teams sharing the points. "Ajman" raised their tally to 14 points in ninth place, while "Al-Zafra" moved up to seventh with 16 points. Nasser added: "It was an important match for us because the three points would have helped us in the second half of the tournament. We conceded a late goal due to minor details, we should have been fully focused throughout the match and we should not have conceded goals in this way." On the other hand, Al-Zafra player Ryan Yassim described the point his team earned as positive, saying: "We succeeded in getting a point because we did not deliver the expected level. We came to Ajman to win, and this is a legitimate right, but given the circumstances and our performance, the point is considered positive because it was against a difficult and experienced team on their own field." He added: "The coming matches will be tougher, we have a good points balance, and we will focus in the second half to collect more points. When you want to build a team, the most important thing is focus and collecting points, whether through a win or a draw."
