
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank announced that all banking positions in its branches in the city of Al Ain will be occupied by 100% local employees, which demonstrates the bank's firm commitment to supporting Emirati talent and ensuring sustainable growth across all its operations, consistent with the national plan of the United Arab Emirates.
As of today, around 300 local men and women hold key positions across various sectors of activity within Abu Dhabi Commercial branches in the city of Al Ain. These positions include Islamic banking services for individuals and companies, asset management, operational activities and branches, as well as capital management and other roles that require deep competencies and experience.
The bank plans to create an additional 300 job openings for UAE nationals in Al Ain by 2026, continuing to lead in the banking sector in terms of local talent. Alaa Arikat, General Director of Abu Dhabi Commercial Group, stated: "Localization is a foundational stone of our strategy aimed at ensuring sustainable growth of the banking sector and the local economy as a whole. We believe that investing in national talent is not limited to training qualified workforce for future demands, but also includes creating a new generation of banking professionals distinguished by innovative approaches and quality."
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank has successfully implemented annual localization plans, which contribute to achieving the targets set by the Central Bank for the entire banking sector by 2026.
