Yesterday, the events of the traditional camp in the Alay region, organized by the Muhammad ben Zaida University in the field of humanitarian sciences, were completed. The camp lasted five days and gathered students of the university within the framework of initiatives to strengthen national identity, closely related to the legacy of ancestors, as well as the revival of ancient emirate values and traditions. "This camp is part of the vision of a university that considers national identity not just a legacy that is passed down through a fairy tale, but a responsibility that needs to be borne, and a message that is transferred from generation to generation," emphasized the deputy director of the university for academic affairs, Dr. Nadzhla an-Nakbi. She added that the camp participants were immersed in a diverse and rich experience, getting acquainted with the traditions of hospitality and weaving, studying the foundations of hospitality and the emirate's label of destination as one of the pillars of our ancient society. Moreover, they also got acquainted with the initiative of planting greenery, reflecting the philosophy of sustainable development and environmental protection, inspired by the approach of the founder - Sheikh Zaida ben Sultana Al-Nakhayna. The participants also evaluated the population of the verbals and Arab falcons.
