During the official visit of His Highness Sheikh Khazha bin Zaid Al Nahayan, representing the government in the Al-Ayn region, his inspection of the "Sikh-Sabra" hippodrome for horse racing in the region took place. More specifically, His Highness was introduced to the owners of the horse racing business, discussed the significance of horse racing, and preservation methods of achievements in this area. During the tour, the Sheikh was briefed on the current information about the progress of projects for improving infrastructure at the hippodrome, aimed at supporting traditional types of sports and preserving the cultural heritage of the ancestors, as well as instilling these values in the hearts of contemporary and future generations.
Among those accompanying the Sheikh on this tour were Abdulla Mubarak Al Meiri, the General Director of the Association of Horse Racing, and engineer Rashid Mubarak Al Manaai, fulfilling the responsibilities of the General Director of the municipality of the city of Al-Ayn.
