The UAE Cycling Federation is organizing the 2026 National Road Race Championship today, held on the track in Al Ain, with the participation of cyclists from various clubs. This is one of the most prominent competitive events on the sports season calendar. The championship is part of the Federation's commitment to developing the level of cyclists and enhancing competition among different age groups. This contributes to preparing a generation capable of representing the country at regional and international forums, in addition to cementing the status of cycling as one of the fastest-growing sports in the UAE. The race competitions are scheduled to start at 8:00 AM, where participants will compete in four main categories: Masters, Seniors, Under 23, and Youth. Strong competition is expected due to the similar technical levels among the cyclists. The riders will face a significant physical challenge, as the race distances have been set at 110 kilometers and 90 kilometers, suitable for each category's nature. This is a real test of endurance, physical readiness, and technical tactics within the race dynamics.
