
In Shatt Al-Hamriya Park, two days ago, an exhibition of the Hamriya government took place, aimed at demonstrating the services provided to the community by municipalities, emphasizing its role in improving the quality of life and strengthening the values of social solidarity. Various departments and administrations of Hamriya participated in the event.
The Department of Agricultural Affairs and Parks presented an initiative for the creation of "Home Gardens for the Elderly" in support of elderly citizens and reinforcing the value of respect and work, as well as a workshop "Little Farm," focused on the cultivation presented as sustainable development and eco-awareness among youth.
The exhibition also included a workshop "Light Up," aimed at reinforcing religious values and enhancing national identity among children, corresponding to one of the key aspects of "Year of Community," linked to strengthening religious and cultural creation in the holy month of Ramadan.
During the exhibition, there were various performances showcasing different cultures, emphasizing the values of openness, tolerance, and preserving heritage, which form part of the national identity of the United Arab Emirates.
During the exhibition, various entertainment shows were held, innovative competitions, a section "Ramadan Puzzles," as well as interactive games for the public of all ages aimed at strengthening community ties and bringing joy to participants. Various stalls were organized featuring traditional food and sweets, as well as a special corner with children's games.
The director of the Hamriya municipality Mubarakh Rashid al-Shamsi emphasized that organizing the exhibition aligns with the goals of "Year of Community," focusing on personal development, strengthening social solidarity, and enhancing national identity and belonging.
Also taking place was a seminar program "For the Community," dedicated to the importance of protecting the environment and the role of individuals in creating a sustainable future, contributing to national goals, promoting sustainable development as one of the foundations of future society.
A lecture was presented at the theater under the title "Healthy Eating in the Month of Ramadan," one of the community initiatives aimed at promoting healthy living during the holy month. During the event, a workshop "Luna Ramadan" was held, where children adorned a Ramadan moon.
At the exhibition fields, the women’s club Shardji organized the Ramadan Market to support local entrepreneurship.
