
In 2024, the chamber held 177 meetings with Business Groups and Councils, including Annual General Meetings, and facilitated 27 meetings between them and relevant government entities. Nine new Business Councils were established, representing investors from various countries such as Greece, Poland, Mexico, Colombia, and others.
Moreover, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce managed 171 mediation cases in 2024, marking a 21.3% increase from the previous year. The first group of participants graduated from the Dubai Family Business Management Programme, reflecting the chamber's commitment to supporting business sustainability and growth.
To promote corporate sustainability, the chamber introduced an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) label aimed at enhancing sustainability standards. The organization continues to strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors, fostering economic growth and creating opportunities for businesses in local and global markets.
Throughout the year, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Business Groups to review and draft laws, resulting in a 58% adoption rate for the proposed recommendations. The Center for Family Businesses conducted training programs, and 27 companies were awarded the ESG label in 2024.
The chamber's Sustainability Week attracted over 500 participants, underscoring Dubai's appeal as a preferred destination for businesses and investors. Export and re-export values surpassed AED 300 billion, with a significant increase in the issuance of Certificates of Origin and ATA Carnets.
By the end of 2024, the chamber witnessed an 18% growth in active members, with 70,500 new companies joining. Legal awareness workshops, governance series sessions, and informative toolkits were provided to enhance the understanding of legal practices and family business management.
