
Dubai International Financial Academy (DIFC) Academy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lloyd's, the famed insurance market serving businesses worldwide. This partnership will focus on advancing talent development and industry-wide education, marking a significant step in the journey of both institutions.
Dawn Miller, Lloyd's Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of Lloyd's Americas, highlighted the importance of this MoU. She expressed her enthusiasm for expanding the reach of the Lloyd's Academy, a platform established in London for risk professionals, to support talent pipeline growth in the Middle East. The collaboration between the DIFC Academy and Lloyd's Academy aims to host events, educational bootcamps, and on-demand learning activities to bolster talent development within the insurance sector.
Alya AlZarouni, Chief Operating Officer of DIFC Authority, emphasized the exceptional learning environment and industry guidance available at DIFC. She noted that the initiative will help accelerate talent development within the sector, which includes more than 125 companies at DIFC. The agreement solidifies the commitment to fostering industry growth and shaping the future of finance through collaboration between the two entities.
