According to Sheikh Mohammed, 13,000 applications have been processed and approved, and the current waiting period has been reduced to just two months - one of the shortest terms globally. He also noted the UAE’s commitment to ensuring family stability through continuous improvement of housing services, with an emphasis on developing an integrated system for facilitating approvals between financial and housing organizations.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that approved projects launched within the framework of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program have benefited more than 1,300 families, amounting to over 1 billion dirhams. He added that efforts to increase the number of beneficiaries throughout the year will consider all pending applications.
Evaluating achievements in the residential construction sector over the past two years, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, stated that the UAE continues to refine its housing system for the support of residents and to address their needs efficiently and effectively.
