The annual report from Dubai airports indicates a baggage delivery efficiency of 99.45%, exceeding the global standard, with the processing of 81.2 million pieces of luggage in 2024. Dubai Airport has set a new record, receiving 92.3 million passengers in 2024, surpassing the previous maximum of 89.1 million passengers in 2018.
In the last decade, more than 700 million passengers and over 3.3 million aircraft movements have been serviced at Dubai International Airport. Since 2014, Dubai Airport has consistently ranked first in the International Airports Council rankings as the world's busiest international airport.
This new record surpassed the previous maximum of 89.1 million passengers set in 2018, and coincided with a historic achievement - Dubai Airport tops the list of the International Airports Council as the busiest international airport in the world in the past 10 years.
