flydubai Unveils New Flight Training Centre

Flydubai airline expands opportunities for pilot training by building a new training center at its base in Dubai. The new center, occupying 38,000 square feet, is equipped with six simulators, offering more than 43,000 hours of training annually. Two simulators are already installed, and two more are planned to be added by the end of 2026.

Enhanced flexibility in scheduling pilot training and access to simulators upon request ensures further development of aviation training in the region, which may also expand to other airlines in the future. The chairman of flydubai inspected the new center, where training is set to start with the installation of two full-motion simulators. The design of the center is modular, allowing for future expansion.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of flydubai, noted: "I am pleased to see the establishment of the flydubai pilot training center. This center provides unique opportunities for training our pilots and strengthens Dubai's position as a global aviation hub." The new center includes auditoriums for pre- and post-flight sessions, classrooms, computer labs, and also simulators for Boeing 737 flights.

The new Flight Training Center for flydubai will become a key element of the airline's growth strategy and enhances its commitment to innovation and improved operational efficiency.
