"Union Cooperation" announced yesterday its financial results for the year 2024, where it witnessed a noticeable increase in revenues and a growth in operating activities. Total revenues reached 2.491 billion dirhams, with a rise of 5% compared to the previous year. Of this total, 1.854 billion dirhams came from retail operations, while 637 million dirhams originated from other operational activities.
Cooperative profits before tax reached 348 million dirhams, an increase of 17.1% over the previous year. Additionally, the number of times its smart application was downloaded exceeded 203,000, and the number of members in the "Distinction" loyalty program at the gold and silver levels reached 1,829,881.
As part of its community responsibilities, the "Cooperative" allocated 19.5 million dirhams for community, educational, security, and charitable programs in Dubai. The CEO of the Cooperative, Mohammed Al Hashimi, stated that 2024 witnessed the implementation of strategic and operational programs, and pointed out that these results reflect the significant changes that occurred to enhance profits and competitive capability.
Al Hashimi also added that the Cooperative achieved significant operational profits in the past year thanks to a successful transformation strategy, ensuring its commitment to achieving operational excellence and expanding its strategic operations.
