Retail centers in the region are actively offering early discounts of up to 70% in honor of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. Experts conducting a review for the newspaper 'Emirates Today' noted that discounts are being spread across furniture, interior products, decorative items, household appliances, clothing, sports bags and shoes, as well as many other goods.
Managers of two retail outlets highlighted that the reduction in prices is aimed at satisfying consumer needs before Ramadan, providing them ample time to make purchases at reasonable prices. A particular demand among families during this time is for food products, while some households are in need of new interior items, updates to household items, and purchases of clothing for festivities.
Malik Al-Hutayb, one of the shoppers, noted: "Furniture, textiles, and decorative items stores are offering early discounts of up to 70% in anticipation of Ramadan." He added that the variety of items and high discounts allowed him to purchase necessary items at accessible prices.
Fatima Khalil noted that discounts of up to 70% on clothing and sports shoes have made her purchases more affordable. Amal Saleem reported discounts of up to 50% on household appliances, electronics, and decorative items, which are also accompanied by special return policies for available products.
The manager of one of the IRFAN ISMAIL stores stated that the goal of the price reductions is to meet consumer needs before the onset of Ramadan, presenting them with varied and accessible offers. He also emphasized a 40% increase in sales since the beginning of the promotion due to high discounts and a larger selection of products.
Erika Karl, responsible for sales in the store, emphasized that the discounts are aimed at satisfying consumer needs before the upcoming Ramadan. She also noted that thanks to the reduced prices, sales have grown by 30-40%.
Retail expert Devi Nadjbal recommends that consumers carefully check their budgets before making purchases and not to buy items they do not need, just because they are on sale. She also reminds that expenses on products, clothing, entertainment, and travel usually increase during Ramadan and festivities, so it is essential to carefully choose purchases to avoid financial difficulties.
